Zeolithe

The zeolite is a mineral of volcanic origin, formed millions of years ago by the mixture of incandescent lava and sea water. Its name derives from the Greek terms “zeo” (boil) and “lithos” (stone) and its literal meaning indicates a hot stone, as its regular and microporous crystalline structure when heated, releases water giving the impression that is boiling.
